    Tesla Model S & X 75D supercharging

"Normal charging" is not the same as supercharging. Supercharging, which happens when you charge at home, is DC to DC without using the car's AC converter. Certain Model S have an 80A charger, depending on the model.

    Tesla Model S & X 75D supercharging

I found out that the maximum power that my Tesla Model S 75D can produce while supercharging is 80 kW. This limit seems tied to the battery size and charging capabilities. It’s a bit slower than newer models.

Phone Key for 2018 Model S

Buy a newer model (I hope you have sense of humor).

    Tesla Model S range confusion

I set the battery display in percentage. It lowers down the range anxiety. 😅

Is it possible to turn off those fake noises?

The Pedestrian Warning System is required by law, so it can’t be turned off entirely, but the good news is that it’s designed to be unobtrusive from inside the cabin; and you might even start to appreciate how they help keep pedestrians safe. If it’s something that really bothers you, you might...

Is it possible to turn off those fake noises?

I’m a huge Tesla fan and I’ve been eyeing the Model S for a while - super excited to buy one soon! I’ve been binge-watching review vids, and noticed that the new Teslas have these annoying fake noises that pop up at low speeds. Honestly, I’m not feeling those sounds at all. Can all those sounds...

Any DIY Tips for Installing a Dashcam?

I believe Tesla didn't have a built-in dashcam in 2017. :) They added it later using software updates for cars with MCU2. If your Model S/X is from before March 2018, it probably doesn't have MCU2. You can check if it's possible to upgrade to MCU2. That would give you access to dashcam and...

    Subwoofer bass in Model S

I've got a M3P too and I regularly load it up with way more than 35 pounds. I'd say it's probably closer to 150 pounds for me as well. And I'm not exactly a featherweight either. Sure, the extra weight slows it down a bit, but it's not a huge deal. I haven't noticed any major difference in...

Time to Wrap My 2015 Model S!

That looks good. The review also says it's an excellent color, very moldable, and easy to work with. I'll go try.

    Painting my Tesla wheels black

Thinking of blacking out my Tempest wheels (either paint, Plasti-Dip, or powder coat). Anyone done this before? Would love to see pics of how it turned out, especially if it's just the machined face and the spokes stay silver! TIA!
