Just picked up a used 2022 Model S last Monday, and I'm kinda bummed about my driving experience so far. It gets way too hot inside because of the glass roof. Didn't expect it to be this uncomfy - well, first time dealing with a glass roof. Got any tips to cool down or block the heat from this glass roof? This is driving me nuts!!!

Try to have it installed with ceramic tint. It has great heat rejection.
I'm not sure about a ceramic tint. I've heard that they can actually trap heat inside the car, making it even hotter on sunny days. Maybe a darker, more reflective tint would do the trick. I've seen those on some cars, and they seem to keep the interior pretty cool.

I’ve never had a car with a glass roof, but I’ve read that tinting or sunshades can make a big difference. Have you tried looking into aftermarket sunshades or UV-blocking films?

Get a sunshade or have it tinted. Unfortunately, it'll really get hot especially when during midday when you're right under the sun.
