How to slap on a bike rack for your trunk?

Has anyone here ever put a trunk bicycle rack on their Model S? I wanna carry mine and my girlfriend’s bikes without wrecking my car. Any tips on doing it right?

I use a mode 3 hitch rack. So far, I'm happy with the result.

I’ve seen people use trunk racks on their Model S, but you’ll definitely want one with good padding to protect the paint and glass. Some brands even have specific Tesla-friendly options. A cheap trick I’ve used is adding extra foam or cloth under the hooks to avoid scratches.

I haven't tried it myself, but you can definitely put a bike rack on a Model S. Just make sure to get a rack that's compatible and use padding to protect the car. Secure the bikes tightly. Make sure cameras and sensors are not blocked.
