I’ve been battling an annoying vibration and loose part issue in my wife’s S ever since the screen replacement in 2019. Despite several service visits, the problem persists. After the most recent attempt to fix the noise, they claimed to have secured the loose part, but the rattle is still there. My wife is frustrated, and now she’s even reconsidering buying another Tesla. It’s been a tough journey, and I’m not sure where to turn next.

First, clear out all the stuff in your car. Then, tap on the dashboard and center console to find the noise. By tapping on different areas, you can pinpoint the exact location of the rattle. This is easier to do when the car is stationary, as there's no road noise to mask the sound. If you can't find it, take your car to a Tesla service center.

Okay, I’ll try tapping around the dashboard and console to pinpoint the source before heading to service.

My husband has completely stopped recommending Tesla to anyone, even tech-savvy friends, due to the poor service experiences. It seems like escalating the issue to another service center, essentially complaining about the incompetence of the first, might be the only way to get someone to take the problem seriously. Have you considered trying a different service center or dealership? It might be worth a shot.
