Thinking of blacking out my Tempest wheels (either paint, Plasti-Dip, or powder coat). Anyone done this before? Would love to see pics of how it turned out, especially if it's just the machined face and the spokes stay silver! TIA!

I haven't seen the wheel covers either, but I've heard the Gemini wheels underneath are identical to the Model Y's. I saw someone on Twitter who painted theirs black, and they looked pretty cool. It might be a good option if you're looking to change the look of your car without going too crazy.

Blackout Tempest wheels sounds awesome! I’ve seen some people use Plasti-Dip as a temporary solution, it’s budget-friendly and removable if you change your mind. Powder coating is the way to go, for a more durable and polished look. It holds up better to wear and tear, especially if you’re driving in rough conditions. If you’re considering a two-tone look (black face with silver spokes), powder coating shops can definitely handle that. Powder coating is a more permanent option, but it’s worth it for a professional finish. Two-tone designs look super sleek on Tempests, go for it!
