Just got myself a 2023 Model S and I'm itching to take my ATV out for a weekend getaway. Thinking about hooking up a Stinger trailer, but I'm a bit freaked out about how much it's gonna suck up my range. Anybody done this before and can give me the lowdown?

My cousin has a motorcycle and a 2016 Model S with a secret hitch. We sometimes pull a little trailer with it. He eventually removed the ramp since it played a major role on the wind drag.

I've seen a few people towing trailers with their Model S, and it definitely affects the range. How much depends on factors like the weight of the trailer, the speed you're driving, and the terrain.

I'd recommend doing some research and maybe even reaching out to a Tesla owner's group to see if anyone has specific experience with the Stinger trailer. They might be able to give you a better idea of what to expect.
