We're looking to add some extra bass to our Model 3's sound system with a subwoofer upgrade. Anyone know the depth limitation for the stock enclosure? Hoping to avoid major surgery on the trunk! Also, if anyone's done this before, please please please share your experience.

I haven't tried it yet, but I am curious. While I'm mostly satisfied with the stock sound quality, I'm always willing to upgrade my audio system.

Have you figured this out? I checked and haven't found anything related to this but I guess you can measure it yourself?

Just be aware that the bass could be heard unevenly (because of the way the car is built and its acoustics).
