So I've got this 2014 Model S and I’m thinking of selling it to grab an SUV. I want to jazz it up a bit to catch buyers’ eyes - maybe throw on a body kit or something. Do you think that’ll actually bump up its value? Got any ideas to make it look cooler and boost the value? I’m all ears!

If it's just a body kit, then it might increase just a little bit. I believe the value depends on the brand, just like Toyota and Honda who hold their value really well regardless if it's stock or modified.

While these mods might look cool, they don't necessarily add value when it comes time to sell. In fact, some buyers might even be turned off by them. It's always a gamble, but it's something to think about before making any major changes.

If you’re aiming to boost resale value, focus on upgrades that enhance the car’s appeal without overinvesting. A clean and well-maintained interior, fresh paint correction, and a detailed exterior will catch buyers’ eyes more than a body kit. Small touches like new floor mats, refreshed badging, or replacing worn trim pieces can also go a long way. A potential buyer might prefer the car in its original condition but well-cared-for. Consider upgrading the wheels for a fresh, sporty look or adding a subtle lip spoiler to enhance the design. Also, buyers love practical upgrades like newer tires or a replacement for the 12V battery. Pair those with a professional detailing job to make the car shine!
