Model 3 Interchangeable parts with Model S

Tesla hacker rawdigits on Reddit is on a quest to replace the yoke in their Plaid Model S with Model 3 stalks because they dislike the haptic controls.

They're documenting the process on Github, and it seems possible thanks to interchangeable parts! While the Model 3 stalks fit perfectly, custom firmware using a Particle Photon + Carloop device is needed to make them work with the Plaid's software. No personal help is offered, but this project could bring back the familiar stalks and full functionality (turn signals already work) for those who prefer them over the yoke!

The installation process for these is pretty straightforward. There might be some wiring involved, but it shouldn't be too complicated. The interchangeabnle parts blend in perfectly with the car's design. It's like they were always meant to be there.
