I'm a bit puzzled by the charging speed difference between my Model S and my mom's. Mine’s charging at, like, half the speed of my mom’s - hers is hitting 400ish, mine’s barely crawling. Same model year, so what’s the deal? Anyone else had this happen? Is it a software thing, battery health, or are the chargers just being shady? Hit me up with the deets!

It could be a few things: battery health, software, charger settings, or even ambient temperature affecting the charging speed

Same model and year? Oh! Do you charge at the same location? Also, what was the SOC of each car when you noticed that?
Yep, same model and year - 2023 Model S LR. We were both at the same Supercharger station, just at different stalls. For the SOC, hers was around 30% mine was about 40%. Is that the problem??

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about the temp since its been pretty chilly lately. I know cold weather can mess with charging speeds, but my mom’s car seems to handle it just fine, even when it’s freezing. Shouldn't both cars be affected the same way if it's just the temp? Maybe it’s more of a battery health thing, but my car still has solid range. Could it still be an issue though?
