I’ve been reading up on the news about potential suspension issues on the Tesla Model S, and it’s been all over the place. There’s a lot of noise out there, so I figured I’d share what I’ve gathered so far and see if anyone else has thoughts or more info.

Here’s the gist of it: NHTSA (the government agency that looks into car safety stuff) is reviewing a possible issue with the suspension on some Model S vehicles. They’re not calling it an investigation or a recall just yet, they’re just deciding if it needs to go that far. Tesla, for their part, is saying there’s no defect.

What’s also blowing up is this thing about Tesla supposedly asking some owners to sign NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) regarding repairs. The media is running wild with it, claiming Tesla might’ve been trying to keep people quiet. NHTSA wasn’t happy about that and told Tesla to cut it out. Tesla responded, saying they didn’t mean to stop anyone from speaking up and are working with NHTSA to fix the language.

For now, there’s no official investigation, and it seems like Tesla is cooperating. If you’ve had any suspension problems with your Model S or X, it might be a good idea to report it to Tesla and NHTSA just to be safe.

Anyone here run into issues like this? Or does anyone have more details? I’m trying to learn more, so I’d appreciate any thoughts or updates from the community!

Thanks for sharing this update...It seems like there’s a lot of confusion around this, but it’s good to see Tesla cooperating. I haven’t experienced suspension issues, but I’ll keep an eye out and report anything if needed.

Most Americans have a distorted view of what built their country's prosperity. This leads to blind loyalty to certain brands, even when they're struggling. Tesla, a symbol of American innovation, is often unfairly criticized. The attacks on science, immigration, and gun control are part of a broader resistance to change.Trolls and short-sellers often target companies that challenge the status quo. I hope that creativity and innovation will ultimately win.
